Facilities

 Peace Temple Retreat facilities include:

• Large open and roofed community structure with a carpeted area (Shoes off in the carpeted area, please)

• Large, fully stocked community kitchen, with hot water, refrigerator, and a container for food storage.

• Dining area that can sit up to 30 people

• A 30ft Modern Yurt – class/workshop/ceremony space with nice flooring and a wood-burning stove for colder nights. Can comfortably seat 24 people in one circle. (Shoes off in the Yurt, please)

• Two large cozy dorm rooms with full  size mattresses in personal alcoves, featuring handmade curtains, reading lights and electric outlets in each bed space – 9 beds per room, total 18 beds.  (Bring warm sleeping bags and sheets/pillows to be most comfortable.)

• Large swimmable pond

• Three hot water showers (if you take a shower, please take quick one to save water and solar power. Please only bring biodegradable cleaning products to Peace Temple)

• Two clean compost toilets (cover your creation with a scoop of sawdust from the green bucket, and use white trash bin for anything else. Toilet paper can go in the toilet.)  Toilets are sitting toilets only. If you want to pee and prefer to stand up, please pee outside in the forest. 

• Limited Electricity from Solar for charging devices

• Limited Wi-Fi (please disconnect your wifi after you use it so others can get on)

• Clean drinking well water

• Unlimited camping area
