Stay at Peace Temple

For the 2026 season we’re opening Peace Temple in a new way.

Outside of our scheduled retreats, we’re now welcoming individuals, couples, and small families to come and spend time on the land — to rest, reconnect, and simply be.

Peace Temple is a quiet nature sanctuary nestled in the forest. A place to slow down, walk among the trees, sit by the water, swim in a pond and enjoy a different rhythm of life. At times there may be others here, offering an opportunity for natural connection with like-minded people. At other times, the space may feel still, private, and spacious. The rhythm of the space is generally quiet, with a natural respect for rest and personal space.

Whether you come for a couple of nights or a longer stay, the intention is simple: to offer an environment that supports presence, reflection, and genuine connection with yourself, with others, and with nature.

A typical day here is unstructured. You might wake up to the sound of the forest, make tea or coffee in the shared kitchen, spend time reading, walking the land, or sitting by the pond.

Some guests prefer quiet and solitude, while others naturally connect over meals or conversations. The space allows for both.

At times, we may offer optional experiences such as sauna sessions, sound baths, or simple nature walks. These are not part of a fixed schedule and depend on availability and interest, but can often be arranged during your stay.

Ways to Stay

Camping

A simple way to be on the land with your own camping gear.

  • $50 per night per adult
  • Children 6–13: $30
  • Children 0–5: $15

Includes access to shared spaces such as bathrooms, kitchen, and the land.

Dorms (Semi-Private Cozy Nooks)

A comfortable indoor shared sleeping space that offers a full size bed, privacy curtains, reading light, shelving and a pillow as well as ambient heating on the colder nights. Guests are asked to bring their own bedding, blankets and sleeping bags.

  • $85 per night per person

Each sleeping space is reserved individually.

Important:

  • Anyone age 6 and older staying in the dorm pays the full dorm rate ($85), regardless of whether they share a bed or have their own
  • Children ages 0–5 may share a bed with a parent and only pay their base rate ($15)

A note for families:

Dorms are shared spaces. We ask all guests to be mindful of others’ rest and privacy. If you’re traveling with young children who may need extra space, quiet, or nighttime care, a cabin or camping setup may be a more comfortable option.

Cabins (Private Stay)

Our small cabins offer a more private and quiet experience, are fully insulated and come with all the bedding you will need for your stay.

  • $140 per night (1 person)
  • $225 per night (2 people)

Each cabin has one queen-size bed and is best suited for one or two adults.

Children:

  • Ages 0–5: may share the bed with parents → $15
  • Ages 6–13: $30 per night
    • May share the bed with parents or use a small floor setup if needed

Capacity note:

Cabins are generally best for 1–2 adults, optionally with one child.

Families with multiple children will likely be more comfortable camping or staying in the dorms.

A Simple Note

Peace Temple is not a hotel — it’s a shared, living nature sanctuary.

We ask that guests come with a sense of care for the land, the facilities, and one another. The experience here is shaped not only by the environment, but by the presence and awareness of those who come.

This space tends to resonate most with people who appreciate simplicity, shared environments, and time in nature.
