Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment for men to come together and engage in self-discovery, personal growth, and emotional healing through variety of practices that engage mind, body, and spirit, ultimately empowering them to live authentically and in harmony with themselves, others, and the world.
We strive for men to leave feeling more connected to themselves and others, with a renewed sense of purpose and direction, and equipped with the tools to continue their personal growth journey beyond the retreat.
Goals
- Create a safe container for men to gather, do deep work, and empower selves and others
- Facilitate healing and transformation for each man and the group
- Raise self-awareness and emotional intelligence for each man
- Guide each man to discover his Life Mission and to take the first steps towards its realization
- Equip men with knowledge, insights, healing, and tools that they will be able to use long after the retreat to continue their personal growth journey aligned with their Purpose.

Facilitators
Vladimir Kuperman
Vladimir is a leader of Peace Temple, a spiritual retreat center in the beautiful Catskill Mountains, devoted to creating and holding peaceful and inspiring community events, where creativity, spiritual growth, sustainability, respect for nature, and respect for each other are practiced.
Vladimir has been on the sacred medicine path for over ten years, facilitating and helping facilitate ceremonies both at Peace Temple, and in Central America. Besides hosting the retreat, Vladimir will lead plant medicine nature hikes and facilitate Central American Sauna and Gong sound bath.
Matthew O’Brien
Matthew serves as a keeper of sacred space and a bridge-builder between the psychological and the spiritual. A long-standing pillar of the Peace Temple community in the Catskill Mountains, Matthew’s path is dedicated to the cultivation of environments where vulnerability, reverence for the Earth, and soul-level growth can flourish. The Path of the Seeker Matthew’s journey began with a deep inquiry into the human psyche, studying psychology to map the patterns of consciousness and the mechanics of the mind. Driven by a call to the “Great Mystery,” he spent over five years traveling through Central America and beyond, immersing himself in the wisdom of sacred medicines and ancient spiritual practices. These years of pilgrimage transformed his intellectual understanding into a lived, heart-centered wisdom. Matthew’s facilitation is a weave of grounded presence and space holding focused on: Vulnerability & Trust: Simplicity and authenticity of inner voice in a safe container. Sacred Fatherhood & Men’s Work: As a father to Mila and Leon, Matthew views the role of a present father as a sacred rite and a source of great strength. He facilitates transformative circles for men and fathers, holding a mirror for others to reclaim their strength, vulnerability, and purpose. The Medicine of Song: Matthew works with soul derived songs—a process of channeled healing where the unspoken narratives of the heart are transformed into melody, allowing for profound emotional release and spiritual alignment.
Charlie Tadduni
Charlie is a seasoned men’s work leader with over 25 years devoted to guiding men into deeper connection with themselves, their brothers, and the natural world. His journey has been shaped by retreats, wilderness hikes, and the creation of ongoing men’s circles grounded in the Divine Masculine, Brotherhood, and Right Relation with all life.
As a fire keeper, Charlie has been entrusted with tending the sacred fire—learning directly from Native elders and wisdom keepers. To him, fire is not just an element but a living ally with the power to transmute pain, fear, and old patterns into clarity, courage, and purpose.
At our retreat, Charlie will hold the fire at the heart of the Inipi Ceremony, ensuring the stones are heated with intention, prayer, and respect—inviting you to meet the fire as both purifier and mirror to your highest truth.
