The Kitchen

When organizing a retreat or event at Peace Temple, there are several options for food and kitchen support. Some groups choose to bring in a chef to cater the event, while others engage volunteers. We have connections with wonderful chefs available for hire, as well as a team of volunteers who often choose to support in the kitchen in exchange for participating in the retreat.

Our kitchen is fully equipped to prepare meals with ease for up to 50 people. It includes spacious counters and a large prep island, two sinks with hot water, a five-burner gas range with a large oven, and two powerful stand-alone burners for extra-large pots and pans. We also provide plates and utensils for all guests, along with a large outdoor dining area. For storage, we have two refrigerators with freezers and ample shelving to keep food organized and safe from animals.

The Peace Temple kitchen is exclusively vegan and vegetarian. We encourage all products to be organic and, whenever possible, sourced from local farms.
